Please read the following conditions for car rental carefully before making a booking with First Cars.

Conditions for Car Rental

The renter agrees to the following conditions:

  1. Rental payment must be made in full and instantaneously.
  2. In case of delay on avoidance of payment, a penalty of 900 Dirhams will apply for follow up costs in addition to payment of all court and legal fees if a court case is opened to collect the rental amount.
  3. Bears all responsibility before the car owner and before the law if it is proven that the car is required by police or any other parties for any reason during the period of contract. In addition the renter bears all costs and penalties during the same rental period plus all indemnities.
  4. Bears all costs of car repairs if any breakage is found during the rental or detention. Also bears all costs and rental charges during repair or detention and considering period of contract extended automatically until the car is discharged under the supervision of the renting company.
  5. The rental company has the right to add charges for additional milage and reserves the right according to this contract.
  6. If the milage counter is corrected the rental company has the right to force a penalty as it sees fit.
  7. In case of accident the renter pays an amount of 4% as depreciation fees.
  8. In case of accident whereby the person renting the car repairs it without the knowledge of the renting company. The renting company reserves the right to submit the car for repair again. The renter pays all costs and additional time for such.
  9. Any extra cost arising out of leaving the car in a deserted area where it is subject to theft or deterioration without notifying the office within 24 hours must be borne by the person renting the car.
  10. The renter has no right to use the car for hired transportation purposes or any other purpose not included in the contract as well as no right to change any of the body features.
  11. The renter must return it in good condition and at the time of contract expiry or else bear all costs and penalties arising of delay.
  12. In case of any incidental of internal parts or motor the renter pays damage costs under the supervision of the company.
  13. The renter is responsible for paying an excess amount of Dhs 1500 and 20% as the insurance company sees fit in case of accident or damage.
  14. The renter has no right to mortgage or rent out the car to any third party. He will be obliged to return the car when requested even before expiry of contract. He will be liable for any delay in case of rejection.
  15. The renter will be liable for any fees in returning the car to the office in case the car is parked away. The company will determine the amount according to location.
  16. In case the renter commits a traffic offence and does not notify the company when delivering the car, he shall be liable for a fee of 600 Dirhams in addition to the offence penalty.
  17. The contract shall be in force from the date of signing. He also must pay the amount for the expected rental period although he returned back the vehicle before the ending date.
  18. Bears the costs of oil and filter after each 1000 K/M.
  19. The rental company is not responsible about the security of any document regarding the renter (e.g. passports) after one week of delivering the car and closing the agreement unless he paid all his debts during the mentioned period.
  20. Security Deposit: A security deposit of AED 1,500 is required at the time of car rental, which will be refunded one month after the vehicle is returned in good condition and without any traffic fines.
